Cyrus Audio's story began in the the UK in the early 1980's as a subsidiary of Mission, building audiophile stereo amplifiers engineered to complement Mission's loudspeakers. Over the ensuing 30 years, Cyrus' superbly vibration-engineered, magnesium-alloy, half-width chassis has become an instantly recognisable Cyrus trade mark--and now houses a line of perfectionist-designed, craftsmen-assembled CD players, DACs and outboard power supplies, as well as amplifiers and preamps.

All electronic components are structurally integrated into the legendary Cyrus chassis. This has emerged as a true icon in the audio world, understated yet undeniably stylish. The `classic` Cyrus magnesium-alloy chassis is formed under enormous pressure and, once cooled, is hand-finished before the final surface is applied. The unique and complex casting forms a highly rigid, well-damped, low eddy current enclosure/structure that ensures Cyrus electronics will offer enduring quality and superb sound.
