These unexpectedly small, self-powered subwoofers add megaspeaker bass to stand mounted monitors or small fl oorstanders. They offer a level of bass clarity and unmuddied bass extension envied by every large cabinet, power hungry behemoth on the market, for four main reasons:

In audio systems, the TR-1 brings beautifully integrated musicality to the bottom of the double bass, the piano, the biggest kick drums, and the pipe organs. We think our modded TR-1 delivers the fastest, cleanest, most natural sound of any of the famous name subs. If you want even greater bass clarity and subway rumble bass extension—along with the power to really get air moving and window panes rattling in your home theater—the modded TR-3D does just that while retaining gorgeous musicality. And for extremists, using a stereo pair of the TR-3Ds will reproduce Richter 7.5 earthquakes under your feet.

Our mods, which double the articulation and musicality of these fine subs, rework the enclosure’s mounting structure to fit four of our big brass Heavyfeet. That locks the sub solidly to the floor, thereby draining sound-muddying vibrations out of the enclosure while driving the floor to gain more bass radiating area and deeper bass.
