FINISHED MAPLE PLATFORMS WITH ISOBLOCK
SUSPENSION
for mounting amps and other gear on shelves and hard floors
All the gear in Mapleshade's studio is mounted, via brass footers, onto maple platforms on Isoblocks. Two inch maple has made a satisfying improvement under every stereo component we’ve tried. Turntables improved astonishingly! (Incidentally, the platform should be slightly larger than the component it supports.) Stepping up to a four inch thickness is a serious sonic upgrade. That’s what Mapleshade's studio tape machine sits on—as does our mastering computer, external CD burner and hard drives, A/D, and everything else in the studio signal path. There’s no question you hear the difference in our CDs. In
independent head-to-head listening tests, the Mapleshade Triplepoint/Platform/Isoblock system invariably sounds better than $5000 Vibraplane air suspension platforms—much warmer, more detailed, and more naturally dynamic at less than one twentieth the cost.
Ditto for expensive composite platforms, sandboxes, and air tube/bladder suspensions from Symposium, Zoethecus, Townshend Seismic Sink, Bright Star, Nuance, Polycrystal, Silent Running. Use our 30-day money back to judge for yourself.
